A person was stabbed Tuesday afternoon at an outdoor market southwest of Fresno, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.
The stabbing occurred around 12:25 p.m. at the Cherry Avenue Auction near Cherry and American avenues, Lt. Bob Miller said.
The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno and is expected to survive. No other details on the victim were available Tuesday.
Authorities believe the stabbing was gang-related.
