Two Oak View residents have been arrested on suspicion of robbing a man, authorities said Wednesday.
Rosalba Hernandez, 24, and Ismael Lopez, 28, were arrested this week on suspicion of robbing a man they had given a ride to after meeting him at a liquor store Saturday, sheriff’s officials said. The two pulled over on Highway 150 and asked the man for his wallet, officials said. When the man refused, one of them pulled out a handgun, took his wallet and ordered him out of the vehicle, officials said. The two then drove away toward Santa Paula, officials said.
Hernandez was arrested in front of her residence Sunday, and Lopez was arrested Monday, officials said.
Lopez was booked into Ventura County jail on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping and a parole violation, jail records show. He was not eligible for bail.
Hernandez was arrested on suspicion of robbery and being under the influence and was released Wednesday on bond, officials said.
