Two bank robbers were caught red-handed Tuesday after cops found them with their pockets stuffed with red dye-covered cash, police said.

The bandits, one flashing a .25-caliber pistol, hit a Chase Bank in Astoria, Queens, about 10:40 a.m. and fled in a waiting getaway car with $13,280, cops said.

But a witness caught the license plate on their Chrysler Town and Country van as they peeled out from the 31st St. bank, said Deputy Inspector Charles Neacy, commander of the NYPD’s major case squad.

Police traced the van to 1635 E. 174th St. in the Bronx and nabbed the duo. Cops found the dye-covered cash on both bandits, $12,000 in one suspect’s apartment, and more dye-splattered money and clothing in the building’s incinerator, as well as the weapon, Neacy said.

Richard Marrero, 43, and Felix Miranda, 62, both of the Bronx, are expected to be arraigned in Federal Court on bank robbery charges.
